Lovely coloring with the much sought after pale transitional peach lips with strong cheek color.. Lashes and brows are tan in color with NO GREEN. Evenly blushed cheeks with no scuffs. Clean, strung body, no seam splits, stains or odors. One tiny dent on tummy as seen in nude photos. Well strung and can stand on her own. Fabulous tagged Yesterdolls Easter Promotion #8-100 is a remake made with vintage materials and is in perfect condition.

    • 1950 Vogue Strung, RARE, Transitional Ginny with Tri-color eyes that work on their own but occasionally need a nudge from you. There are no scuffs or scratches to her eyelids.  She has  evenly-blushed strong pink cheek blush with no scuffs, and pale, peach lips. She retains her original Titian mohair wig in a soft flip
    with bangs in excellent condition with no thin spots.  There is a little flattening to the back of her wig due to storage, which is common with mohair wigs.  Her eyelashes and brows are tan with no yellow or green. Appropriately marked “Vogue Doll” on her back, and “Vogue” on her neck, she is an early strung “transitional” doll from 1950, can stand on her own, hold all poses and has no body seam splits, stains, fading, odors or problems.  All her body parts match in tone.  I see a tiny dent (tooth mark?) on her tummy that shows in photos #3 and #5; very minor, but I wanted to mention it.
    She is dressed in the 1950 “Special Promotions” #8-100
    remake
    dress.  It is tagged “Yesterdolls”.   The dress is a shadow fern-print organdy Holiday dress with cotton inset bodice, butterfly sleeves, and trimmed in aqua satin ribbon.  It closes in back with two original hook and eye closures.  It is a carefully-crafted, newly-made dress made exactly like the original.  Made of vintage materials, it comes with ribbon-trimmed matching bloomers. This is a remake of the same dress as the 1950 #8-100 Special Promotions Vogue did for Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.  It came in red and green and also pastel colors. In both the Izen and Stover book and the Barbara Clark book the original is shown either as St. Patrick’s Day or Valentine’s  Day and in yellow as the Easter promotion.  She wears matching aqua socks and hand-made aqua oilcloth center-snap shoes with slick bottoms, and secure snaps.  A matching aqua satin bow is pinned to her hair and she carries a tiny Easter basket.
