Brand new Pokemon TCG League Promo Pins Badges from participating in the Pokemon TCG League. Many seasons to choose from; continually adding more until we get them all found/ sorted! Wrapped in individual plastic bags, unless otherwise indicated with a “UW” (unwrapped) in the drop-down menu description.
Note: The Unova Gym Badges are the first series to not include pin backs. They are not wearable items.
Note #2: Due to the glazing process at time of manufacture, some of the Indigo and Johto Season badges may appear yellowed, rather than white. This is quite common for these series, and it doesn’t affect every badge. Different manufacturers/ materials may have been used- reason is unknown.
“So, why are many of these unwrapped anyway?”
That’s a great question. When we were running Pokemon League many years ago, we quickly discovered that way too many League players were having a difficult time getting their plastic wrappers into the multitude of available trash cans. Wrappers ended up on the floor, out the door, into the street, etc. In an effort to reduce littering from our League, we pre-opened a bunch of these to be able to hand them out litter-free. We obviously ended up with extra unwrapped units in some styles.
